Strengths: Telfair’s quickness, court vision and ball handling makes him one of the top point guards in this class. He gets teammates involved after penetrating the lane or in transition. He also enjoys breaking down defenders and pulling up for a jumper or floater. When the game is on the line he usually wants the rock in his hands.
Areas of Improvement: On the next level Ethan will have to get physically stronger and improve his outside shot. The strength aspect will help him handle pressure from bigger guards, absorb contact in the lane and become more effective on the defensive end. Improving his outside shot will make defenders respect his jumper more which will make his dribble drive game even more effective.
