KING OF THE CAPITAL 7TH GRADE SHOWDOWN RECAP: GYM WORK TRAINING CRUISES TO CROWN!

In the 7th Grade King Of The Capital Showdown Gym Work Training used a huge second half to defeat NJ Rivals 61-42. We will like to thank both teams for a very entertaining game.

KING OF THE CAPITAL SHOWDOWN 7TH GRADE TOP PERFORMERS

MVP- Isaiah Gore Guard (Gym Work Training)- Gore saved one of his best games of the summer for his other team. The lanky guard was superb in transitions by using body control to score especially through contact. He also has shown a good knack to finish with the opposite hand. He tallied 18 markers in the win.

Dylan Napolem Forward (Gym Work Training)- This kid might have been the best long term prospect in the building period. He continues to expand his outside game including ball handling and decision making. What I’m really impressed with is this kid’s motor, he never stops working on the boards and on defense. He had an argument for MVP honors.

Azir Bethea Guard (NJ Rivals)- Bethea continues to have a breakout summer. The combo guard is a total beast in transition and when attacking from angles in the half court set. During one segment of the game he did all the scoring for NJ Rivals. He finished with a game high 25 points. I’m loving how this kid keeps getting better and stays hungry.

Javion Cesar-Jones Guard (NJ Rivals)- Jones also showed some promise during this event. He was to knockdown a couple of NBA ranged treys and drop a few nice dimes. I like his feel for the game and long term potential moving forward. He has a name to we should hear for years to come.
