Basketball Spotlight Super Showcase 6th Grade Top Performers Part 2

The Basketball Spotlight Super Showcase Session 2 6th Grade Division showed us how bright our future is. Here’s our second look at the Class of 2027 top performers.

Basketball Spotlight Super Showcase 6th Grade Top Performers Part 2

Nazir Tyler Forward (Philadelphia, PA) – Nazir was the tallest forward in the division, and he made his presence known. He rebounded everything even in traffic after which he could lead the break making the right decision on the other end. Defensively he was blocking everything. We liked his finishing ability around the basket.

Korey Francis Guard (Wilmington, DE) – Francis is a big guard that the game comes easy to. He grabs the rebound and weaves in and out of the defense all the way up the court finishing on the other end. He always seems to make the right pass and he has that switch that turns on in the big moments as we saw him knock down a clutch 3 ball in crunch time of a highly competitive game. The sky is the limit for this kid.

Tahir Conner Forward (Elizabeth, NJ) – Conner is an athletic forward that does most of his work around the basket. He uses his strength to rip down rebounds. He can handle the ball attacking the basket on straight line drives. We like his energy level, and he will keep coming at you play after play.

Sean White Jr. Guard (Rahway, NJ) – Sean is a quick guard that is trying to get straight to the basket. He knows how to break down his man and then use floaters and runners to finish over the shot blockers waiting at the basket. When he grabs a rebound, he will push the rock super-fast end to end.

Bellvin Smith Guard (Lansdowne, PA) – Smith is a guard with a handle and nice court vision. He is tough nosed and locks up on defense. He attacks the defense trying to get in the paint but if you play off of him he will knock down the 3 point shot as we saw him knock down multiple threes in the game we watched. He seems to be gliding with the ball in his hands.

Semaj Stone Forward (Philadelphia, PA) – Stone is a nice size forward that excels finishing around the rim. He can lead the break with good decision making he likes to find his teammates set them up for scoring opportunities. He is a very fluid player on the court that brings a winning mentality to his team.

Sean Turner-Savage Guard (Ewing, NJ) – Sean is a flashy point guard that likes to get his teammates involved. He has good court vision and was one of the better passers in the division. He uses his handles to navigate the floor and get the basket. If left open he can knock down the 3 pointer.
