The 7th Grade Division had a new teams and performers. We were excited to report on some fresh faces. Here is the first part of the top performers.

Basketball Spotlight Tip Off Classic 7th Grade Top Performers Part 1

Olin Chamberlin Guard (Team Final)- Olin has great motor and always seems to be going downhill. He attacked the rim relentlessly and finished with ease. He has a serviceable mid range jump shot that he knocked down consistently this past weekend. Chamberlin is good floor general that keeps his teammates involved in the game. He showcased his ability to set teammates up for easy scores. He showed why he is one of the best guards in the country during the final game, scoring 19 pts to lead his team to the championship. We see a bright future for Chamberlin.

Jacob Meachem Guard (Team Final)- Meachem is gusty little guard that plays with a lot of energy. His ability to get to wherever he wanted on the floor is tremendous. He has a very good jump shot that he hit consistently during the weekend. He also set up his teammates for easy scores.

Keon Long Forward (Team Final)-Keon is slasher that can get to the rim at will. We like the length he has right now and we feel like he will be a really good defender. His ability to finish at the rim is tremendous. As continues to grow we see him moving to the point guard spot.
Christian Jeffrey Guard (Brooklyn Bridge)-Christian is a floor general that knows how to control the pace of the game. He constantly pushed the tempo of the game to out run opponents. He was also able to knock down the open shot and set his teammates up for easy scores.
Xavier Caesar-Forward (Brooklyn Bridge)- Xavier is an athletic wing with a tremendous motor. He has the knack to get to the rim at will. We like how he seemed to be around every rebound or loose ball. If he continues to grow we believe that he will have a bright future in basketball.
Ka-Ron Whiteheadrim Guard (Brooklyn Bridge)- Ka-Ron is another guard on Brooklyn Bridge with a relentless motor. He is able to get to the rim and kick the ball out to open shooters. He has the ability to score at a high clip and is also a great defender.
Joseph Jennings Guard (Brooklyn Bridge)- Jennings was probably one of the better shooters that we saw this past weekend. He consistently hit threes to help his team to victories. As he grows, he will become a tough guard playing the shooting-guard spot.
