Moody Park Summer League Middle School AAU Division Top Performers

Jeff White

The Moody Park Summer League Middle School AAU Division semi-finals took place last night and Basketball Spotlight was in the building. Here’s a look at the top performers of the night.

Moody Park Summer League Middle School AAU Division Top Performers

Jeff White Forward (BBall Spotlight)- When Spotlight’s offense stalled White picked up the slack by banging inside and scoring through contact. He lived at the free throw line and even drained a long trey. K&D Express didn’t have any answer for him when he got the rock on the blocks. He tallied 20 markers in the win.

Stesher Mathelier Forward (BBall Spotlight)- Stesher cashed in as again playing the high-low game with White. He was very efficient around the basket using the glass to kiss the rock in. On defense he altered shots and blocked a few along the way. He finished with 14 points.

Sharief Guinyard Forward (BBall Spotlight)- Guinyard also contributed to the Spotlight win while scoring in transition and hitting the glass. His length also helped him while passing lanes by getting steals and pushing the rock up the floor.

Naire Preston Guard (K&D Express)- Preston is a walking bucket. He isn’t afraid to pull it from with deep (3 treys). He also can score when there are pushing by leaking out away from the defense. His toughness stood out as he scored team high 19 points.

Kabrian Goss Guard (K&D Express)- Goss was dime happy tonight as he dished the rock to teammates in the half court and transition. When he plays like this he’s hard to maintain because he can get to the hole at will.

Yaevae Yeager Forward (K&D Express)- Yeager is an interesting prospect. I like his size and some of his ball instincts. He was able to contribute along the baseline while using a floater to score. He’s very versatile.
