Moody Park Summer League Elementary AAU Top Performers (Game 1)

Aivaye Ingram

The Moody Park Summer League Elementary School AAU semifinals took place last night and Basketball Spotlight was in the building. In the first game MPO Elite (Blue) defeated Pennington Travel. Here are the players that impressed us.

Moody Park Summer League Elementary AAU Top Performers

Aivaye Ingram Guard (MPO Elite Blue)- The southpaw led his team in scoring with 10 markers. He excelled in transition with dribble drives and smooth finishes. His crafty ball handling seems to be getting better each time I see him.

Marvin McNeil Guard (MPO Elite)- Once again the strong scoring guard performed under the bright lights. He bounced off of defenders and still had the presence of mind to finish off plays. His body control is very unique for a player his age. His like a miniature Kyle Lowry.
Marjon Skillman Forward (MPO Elite Blue)- Skillman brought his A Game to Moody Park last night. He was able to crash the boards, block shots and score buckets. I love the way he competes and he’s only scratching the surface of his potential. Watch out for this kid.
Hyshyon Cannon Forward (MPO Elite Blue)- Cannon played big also inside and along the baseline. He was very active on the defense alongside Skillman in terms of blocking shots and grabbing caroms. He also has a huge upside down the road.
Grayson Vlasac Guard (Pennington Travel)- Vlasac led the game with scoring with 12 points. He’s so exciting to watch because his handle is tight and court vision is beyond his years. I love a throw back pass first point guard. Remember his name Grayson Vlasac.
TY Becker Guard (Pennington Travel)- The rugged two guard plays in the backcourt with Vlasac and fears no one. He handles the rock okay and has nice touch on his shot. On defense he plays the passing lanes well and knows how to move his feet.
